How to Disable Retail Mode on a Samsung Galaxy Live Demo Unit

Please note, the retail store demo Samsung Unit’s doesn’t have a cellular modem, so you can’t make/receive calls/text messages. It’s intended as a store demo unit and is essentially a tablet with wifi.
Unlock
The most common method to disable “Retail Mode” on a Samsung is:
- Go to the app drawer and open an app called Samsung Retail.
- Tap the triple dots and then tap “Configuration Settings” or “Store Settings” and enter the password 5444 to unlock it.
- Then uncheck “Disable the factory reset” and enter the following password M729Q16K8546.
- Turn your Samsung off and boot into Recovery mode.
- Go to Wipe data & factory reset and press OK.
Apparently, Walmart and Sam’s Club have a unique password to disable Retail Mode.
The password is “walton” in lowercase.
I’ve also read “rollback” has been used, in case you need another option.
Best Buy uses “blue” as the password.
Target uses “onthemark” as the password
